Dr. Haber serves as Biomica’s Chief Executive Officer. He is a seasoned life-science and biotechnology executive with over 15 years of experience in a range of strategic and operational leadership roles. Previously served as the CEO of Therapix Biosciences (Nasdaq, TASE: TRPX), leading the company to a successful IPO on Nasdaq and advancing the Company’s programs to clinical stage. Dr. Haber’s extensive career also includes over a decade of service as Chairman and board member for various privately held and publicly traded companies. He has also held senior executive positions in diverse life science companies and a private investment firm. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science and an MBA in Finance & Financial Engineering, both from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

Prof. Ringel has more than 30 years of diverse experiences, especially in Gastroenterology and translational research, and is an expert on IBS and functional motility disorders; he serves as an editor and in editorial boards of prestigious Scientific Journals. Prof. Ringel is Recipient of several prestigious awards. He received his medical degree from Technion Institute of Technology, Israel.

Previously established and served as the head & principal investigator of the Dead Sea microbiology lab in the Dead Sea-Arava Science Center, studying the human skin microbiome.
Spent over 5 years working in the pharma industry both in the US and in Israel (OSI pharmaceuticals and Teva pharmaceuticals). Holds a PhD in systems microbiology from the Department of Physics of Complex Systems at The Weizmann Institute.

Prior to joining Biomica, served as a finance advisor to public and private companies. Prior to that, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Oramed Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ, TASE: ORMP) from 2009 to 2017.

Holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Economics degree from the Hebrew University, an MBA from Tel-Aviv University and a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) from Bar-Ilan University, Israel, and is a certified public accountant.

A senior healthcare executive with a scientific and business background. With extensive multicultural experience, she has negotiated the establishment of 24 startups and served on 5 biotech company boards. Mel was CEO of Schneider Children’s Hospital’s Innovation Center and previously VP of Business Development at Yissum, Hebrew University’s Technology Transfer Company. She holds a Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, an MBA, and a Master’s Degree in Nutrigenetics & Nutrigenomics.

Osnat earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem’s School of Pharmacy. She holds PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS), where she explored antibiotic resistance biochemistry, structure, and genetics. Subsequently, she undertook two postdoctoral fellowships: one at WIS studying human Cytomegalovirus infection mechanisms, and another at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) investigating the skin microbiome in rare primary immunodeficiency patients. During these roles, she gained hands-on experience in bioinformatics and statistical analysis of high-throughput sequencing data, particularly in microbial genomics and metagenomics.

Shiri specializes in studying gene expression and virulent factors of various microorganisms. Previously, she held a researcher position at the Dead Sea and Arava Science Center, affiliated with Ben Gurion University of the Negev. Since 2017, Shiri has played a key role in establishing Biomica’s lab capabilities including an anaerobic fermentation unit for isolating and cultivating bacterial strains. Today she oversees all lab experiments from discovery to preclinical stages. Shiri, who holds a PhD in Microbiology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Sheerli earned her Bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and food sciences, along with a Master’s degree in biotechnology and fungal physiology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She also holds a PhD in Molecular Microbiology & Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University. Her expertise includes various analytical methods such as taxonomical, functional, and metabolomics analyses, coupled with extensive experience in bioinformatic tools and statistical analyses for metagenomics and microbial genomics. Prior to Biomica, Sheerli served as a microbiome content expert at DayTwo.

Meital is a CMC and formulation expert with 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She has successfully led the development and submission of over 9 products for FDA approval, including first-to-file ANDA products and novel products (NDA). At Teva, Meital served as QbD lead, contributing to the company’s portfolio while upholding regulatory, clinical, and quality standards. Piroir to Biomica, she served as Executive Director at Foamix Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the formulation department. Meital holds a B.Sc in Life Science from Ben Gurion University and an M.Sc in Biochemistry from Tel Aviv University.

Tzlil Solomon, Biomica’s HR Business Partner, driving human resource strategies in alignment with company goals. With expertise in talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and strategic planning she provides HR support to executives and manages recruitment at Biomica. She joined Evogene Group in 2020. Previously, she served as an HR Specialist at Softwave and a Recruitment Consultant at Shelef-HR. Ms. Solomon is a licensed attorney with an L.L.B. in Law.
